Sessions were held on "Restructuring the financial architecture to achieve the SDGs", "Leading investments to achieve the SDGs: impact measurement and management" and "Competitive economies through digitalisation".
Interactive discussions were held with the participation of representatives of the participating countries and international organizations in the session organized on the reconstruction of the financial architecture to achieve the SDGs. The report of Kutluhan Taşkin, Vice President of the Presidency of Strategy and Budget of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Turkey was heard.
Then, ideas were exchanged on the reconstruction of the financial architecture to achieve the SDGs, and the strengthening of international and regional partnership in the implementation of the SDGs with the participation of representatives of the participating countries and experts representing international organizations.
Dubravka Dedović, Minister of Mining and Energy of Serbia, was the keynote speaker in the session titled "Leading Investments to Achieve the SDGs: Impact Measurement and Management", where environmental, ecological and social impact assessment topics were discussed and questions were answered.
The first day of the II Baku Forum ended with a session on competitive economies through digitalization. The report of Alija Kozljak, head of the cabinet of Denis Bečrović, a Bosniak member of the Presidium of Bosnia and Herzegovina, was heard and opinions were exchanged during the session on the issues of forming an effective framework serving stable macroeconomic stability, strengthening the medium-term and long-term driving forces of economic development, modernizing human capital and expanding the digital economy.
The II Baku Forum on sustainable finance and investment will continue its work on November 16.
