The organizational and legal issues on the agenda were discussed at the 2nd meeting of the Council of the Azerbaijan-Kyrgyz Development Fund.
The 2nd meeting of the Council was held on November 23 in Baku under the chairmanship of Elnur Aliyev, the Chairman of the Council of the Azerbaijan-Kyrgyz Development Fund, the First Deputy Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan.
It was noted at the meeting that the Azerbaijan-Kyrgyz Development Fund will be an effective mechanism for the development of close economic relations between Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan, including joint implementation of large investment projects and more effective use of the export-import potential of our countries. It was reported that the Fund established to support economic cooperation, modernization of the economy and efficient use of opportunities will invest in priority projects of business entities in agro-industrial complex, energy, horticulture, textile, tourism and other fields using various financial instruments. The Fund will support the joint activities of the business organizations of both countries and, as a result, will stimulate the development and expansion of relations between our countries.
It was mentioned that a number of technical issues on the agenda, including the Regulations on the Fund's Council and the Fund's Management Board, have been agreed upon since the first meeting of the Council held on July 27 in Cholpon Ata, Kyrgyzstan.
