Investment opportunities between Azerbaijan and Turkey were discussed at the Investment Forum held in Baku.
Opportunities for joint cooperation were reviewed at the panel on "Investment opportunities in the Republic of Azerbaijan" held within the framework of the Azerbaijan-Turkey Investment Forum.
Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov, Chairman of the Management Board of the authorized body of the Alat Azad Economic Zone Valeh Alasgarov, Chairman of the Management Board of the Economic Zones Development Agency Elshad Nuriyev, Executive Director of the Azerbaijan Investment Company Ulvi Mansurov, General Director of the Institute of Economics Nazim Imanov, Deputy Director of the Finance Department of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey Necip Fazil Kaymak, director of "Kartash" LLC Najmaddin Tashbag made a speech at the event. The panel meeting was moderated by Yusif Abdullayev, executive director of the Export and Investment Promotion Agency - AZPROMO.
It was emphasized that holding the Azerbaijan-Turkey Investment Forum in Baku further strengthens the unity between the two brotherly countries.
It was pointed out that there is great potential for expanding relations between our countries in various fields of economy. The issues discussed within the framework of the investment forum and the negotiations conducted will be important in the development of economic and trade relations between friendly countries and business partnerships between businessmen.
Positive dynamics are observed in all areas of our economic cooperation. Our heads of state set the goal of increasing the trade turnover to 15 billion US dollars. Successful implementation of joint projects, active promotion of mutual investments and continuous growth of trade turnover provide confidence to achieve this goal.
Information was provided at the event about the rich resources and favorable investment environment of our territories liberated from occupation, and it was emphasized that the active activities of brotherly Turkish companies in these territories are a matter of pride.
Discussions were held within the framework of the panel about the effective conditions offered by our investment environment and the priority directions of investment in our country, opportunities created for entrepreneurs in the Alat Free Economic Zone and industrial zones, activities of enterprises with foreign investment, state support on the investment platform, participation in investment projects implemented in our liberated territories and financing of business projects in priority sectors.
