The Minister of Economy emphasized the importance of multi-directional relations and effective cooperation with the World Bank and noted the successful partnership in improving the investment environment, public-private sector partnership, innovation, development of management technologies, supporting entrepreneurship and other areas.
World Bank Azerbaijan Country Manager, Stefanie Stallmeister stressed that the international organization she represents attaches importance to cooperation with Azerbaijan and will continue the support of the World Bank in achieving the development priorities of our country.
The main strategic directions were presented at the meeting that will be reflected in the new Country Partnership Framework document reflecting Azerbaijan's development priorities and plans in the short and long term, prepared by the World Bank Group. The document will contribute to regional and global challenges by aligning with the World Bank Roadmap for expanding cooperation, as well as identify opportunities to strengthen private sector development and mobilize private capital.
The development priorities of Azerbaijan, the issues to be reflected in the Country Partnership Framework document and the organization of COP29 in our country were discussed at the meeting.
