First Deputy Minister of Economy, Co-Chairman of the Joint Working Group on Trade and Investment Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Federal Republic of Brazil Elnur Aliyev met with Roberto Perosa, Secretary for Commerce and International Relations of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock of Brazil.
It was emphasized that there are opportunities for the expansion of trade circulation between our countries and the development of relations in various directions of the economy. Favorable business and investment environment created for entrepreneurs in Azerbaijan, concessions and incentives intended for investors in industrial zones were brought to attention. Opportunities for joint action and cooperation on "green" financing were reviewed within the framework of COP29.
Ideas were exchanged at the meeting in the direction of mutual investment, cooperation within the framework of public-private partnership, prospects for the development of relations in the agricultural field, including the expansion of the export of agricultural products of Azerbaijan to Brazil, food security, and the involvement of modern technologies in agricultural parks.
