The development of economic relations with Japan, as well as the possibilities of expanding cooperation with the companies of this country, were discussed.
Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Azerbaijan Katsuya Watanabe. It was emphasized at the meeting that our country attaches importance to the development of cooperation with Japan. It was noted that the application of digital economy and technologies of the fourth industrial revolution, development of partnership in energy and other fields are priority issues.
The parties reviewed the main directions of bilateral business partnership, strengthening dialogue between Azerbaijani and Japanese companies, opportunities for cooperation in the field of investment and taxation within the framework of COP29.
