The Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) announces a competition for the financing of projects in the fields of education, science, research, and support for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in accordance with the 'Regulations on the Financing of Education, Science, Research, and Support Projects Related to the Development of Micro, Small, and Medium Entrepreneurship,' approved by the Cabinet of Ministers on September 30, 2020.
Conditions:
- Legal or physical persons that are micro, small, and medium-sized enterprise entities can participate in the competition;
- Projects must relate to one of the fields of education, science, research, or support.;
- Each individual has the right to submit only one project within the competition;
- The duration of the projects should be no less than 3 months and no more than 12 months;
- Projects that are fully funded by other organizations, ongoing, or completed cannot be additionally or repeatedly financed by the Agency;
- All required documents for participation in the competition must be submitted in full;
- The execution of the specified works within the project must commence from December 15, 2024;
- Projects submitted for the competition must be prepared in the Azerbaijani language;
Allocated Financial Resources: The maximum funding amount for each project is set at 20,000 (twenty thousand) AZN
Submission of Project Documents: Project documents will be accepted from September 24, 2024, starting at 09:00 until October 23, 2024, at 18:00 (Note: Project documents submitted before or after the specified time will not be accepted).
Competition Duration: The competition will take place from October 25, 2024, to November 25, 2024.
Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) wishing to participate in the competition can submit the following documents in electronic form (info@smb.gov.az ) or in hard copy directly to the Agency (38C Ziya Bunyadov Street, 1969 neighborhood, “Baku SME House”) from September 24, 2024, 09:00 AM to October 23, 2024, 06:00 PM:
