Views were exchanged on new cooperation directions in the field of investments with the Saudi Fund for Development.
Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov held a meeting with Sultan Abdulrahman Al-Marshad, the CEO of the Saudi Fund for Development.
The Minister of Economy noted that the economic relations between Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia are developing, the ties among the business communities are expanding. He also highlighted the importance of the projects implemented in our country with the support of the Fund.
The Minister emphasized investments in the priority sectors, including industry, energy and agriculture, as well as opportunities for investors from Saudi Arabia to participate in the reconstruction process of the liberated territories.
Sultan Abdulrahman Al-Marshad noted that the events aimed at strengthening the cooperation between our countries, the discussions held will contribute to the development of the economic and trade relations. He also highlighted prospects for implementing new joint projects.
The parties explored the public-private partnership, evaluated new opportunities for collaboration in the green energy projects implemented within the framework of the Middle Corridor, investments and other priority sectors. They also discussed the expansion of the relations among the business communities in various fields.
