The prospects of economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and the UAE, the promotion of active collaboration in the energy sector, and joint projects between the two countries have been discussed.
Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov met with Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, the UAE's Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology.
During the meeting, it was emphasized that transforming our country into a clean environment and a "green" energy nation has been set as a goal. Information was provided on projects being implemented for the efficient use of energy and the creation of new sustainable energy sources, as well as their execution status. Additionally, SOCAR's joint projects with the UAE's ADNOC and Masdar companies, along with future issues related to their implementation, were discussed.
The parties also discussed the prospects of joint economic activities between Azerbaijan and the UAE, the promotion of active cooperation in the energy sector, and the potential partnership with Azerbaijan within the framework of COP29.
