The applications of 16 SMEs that applied to the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) for a "Startup" certificate were reviewed. Based on the Expert Council's opinion, it was decided to issue the relevant certificate to 10 of them. As a result, the total number of SMEs that have received the "Startup" certificate has reached 174.
The awarded “Startup” certificates were for the following projects: "Seaya" LLC’s online platform for the reservation and management of individual homes and hotels, "Eurasia Group" LLC’s digital platform for cardio monitoring and diagnostics, “Qbit Technologies” LLC’s platform for real estate transactions and services, "Printfable" LLC’s online platform for creating and ordering custom designs, “Eventa” LLC’s online platform for managing mass events and ticket sales, “Billing Pro” LLC’s online platform for debt calculation and collection, “Avtomend” LLC’s online platform for managing vehicle fleets, "Metanoia" LLC’s online platform and mobile application for religious education and the sale of halal products, the mobile application for warehouse management, trade, and accounting by individual entrepreneur Orkhan Mammadov, and the online platform for vehicle rental and carsharing by individual entrepreneur Novruz Novruzov.
The “Startup” certificate exempts SMEs from profit and income tax on revenues obtained from innovative activities for a period of 3 years starting from the date they receive the certificate.
Micro and small enterprises with projects at the development stage can apply to SMBDA for a "Startup" certificate.
