Support provided for the preparation of 220 business plans for entrepreneurs and aspiring business starters this year

SMBDA provides free support for the preparation of business plans.

From January to September of this year, the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) prepared and presented 220 business plans to entrepreneurs and individuals interested in starting businesses. These plans aim to establish new businesses or expand existing entrepreneurial activities in production and service sectors within Baku and various regions of the country. Most business plans are focused on the Baku economic region, followed by the Ganja-Dashkasan, Gazakh-Tovuz, Guba-Khachmaz, Shaki-Zagatala, Karabakh, and other economic regions. Of these plans, 73 were prepared specifically for women entrepreneurs. In total, SMBDA has supported the preparation of 1,555 business plans for entrepreneurs to date.

It should be noted that SMBDA provides free support for business plan preparation. This service is carried out by SME Development Centers (SMEDC) operating in Baku and various regions of the country. These centers offer training and consultancy services to entrepreneurs and individuals starting businesses, specifically in business plan preparation. In addition, SME Development Centre specialists provide direct support in the preparation process. Entrepreneurs and aspiring business owners can apply for assistance with business plan preparation by contacting SMBDA via email at info@smb.gov.az  or through the following link: https://smb.gov.az/az/contact-form/aze-citizen.
