Land survey and cadastre work continues in liberated territories

In Aghdara, to date, field soil research has been conducted over an area of 70,291 hectares, field geobotanical research over 37,304 hectares, and agrochemical research over 27,109 hectares.

The electronic cadastre registration, reflecting the quantitative and qualitative indicators of land, as well as land classification, economic valuation, and other land cadastre and land management activities, are being carried out by the State Property Service under the Ministry of Economy in the territories within the Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur economic regions.

Within the framework of land management and cadastre activities in the liberated Aghdara region, it is planned to conduct land management work over an area of 166,091 hectares, as well as 134,704 hectares of field soil research and geobotanical field studies in 2024.

The implementation of these activities will enable the determination of the volume and composition of the region's land resources in accordance with their designated purpose.

Since August 2024, field measurement work has been carried out over an area of 153,516 hectares in Aghdara district, and the work is currently ongoing.

It should be noted that during field measurement work, specialists from the State Property Service are using modern equipment to determine the coordinates of destroyed residential areas, agricultural, forest, and other designated lands, as well as all components within their boundaries. Continuous AzPOS stations are used as reference points to conduct field measurements in the area via GPS.

As part of the land cadastre work, soil and geobotanical studies are being conducted, along with soil grading (bonitation) processes. This year, a total of 134,704 hectares in the Aghdara district is planned to undergo soil, geobotanical, and agrochemical research.

Since the beginning of this year, field soil studies have been conducted on 70,291 hectares, geobotanical field studies on 37,304 hectares, and agrochemical research on 27,109 hectares. Soil and plant samples have been collected and sent to the Project-Research Center for Cadastre and Land Management under the State Service for Property Issues for agrochemical analysis.

The results of the soil and geobotanical studies are entered into the unified electronic cadastral information system.

The electronic cadastral registration of the quantity and quality indicators of the lands in the liberated areas will contribute to the formation of a unified state cadastral register of real estate, enhance the efficiency of land use and protection, and enable the efficient management of land resources.
