A "Memorandum of Understanding on Information Exchange and Assistance in Tax Collection Between the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the State Revenue Service of the Republic of Latvia" has been signed.
A meeting was held between Azerbaijan's Minister of Economy, Mikayil Jabbarov, and Latvia's Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Edgars Skuja.
The parties emphasized the importance of enhancing bilateral economic relations and exchanged views on identifying new opportunities for cooperation.
As part of the meeting, the "Memorandum of Understanding on Information Exchange and Assistance in Tax Collection Between the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the State Revenue Service of the Republic of Latvia" was signed. The document aims to organize more efficient and effective information exchange between the tax authorities of Azerbaijan and Latvia, as well as to facilitate experience sharing in the field of taxation.
Under the memorandum, the parties will cooperate in the collection of tax debts and combat tax evasion.
