The Minister of Economy, Mikayıl Jabbarov, met with the head of the IMF mission for Azerbaijan, Anna Bordon, and her delegation.
The delegation of the international organization was briefed on economic growth, inflation, import and export indicators, and challenges in the financial sector in our country.
During the meeting, a presentation was made on the results of the IMF mission's activities in Azerbaijan. The parties discussed increasing the role of the private sector in economic diversification and ensuring sustainable financial opportunities, tax reforms, strengthening public-private partnerships, transparency, and climate action, as well as improving the operations of state-owned enterprises.
