The work on better protecting the economic and trade interests of our country and local exporters by Azerbaijan's trade representatives in foreign countries continued last year as well.
Trade missions of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Central European countries, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, Russia, and China have carried out activities to stimulate the export of Azerbaijani products, expand access to foreign markets, and strengthen business connections. "Invest in Azerbaijan" events, dedicated to Azerbaijan's investment opportunities, have been organized at international exhibitions, forums, and conferences held in various countries around the world. A number of efforts have been made to promote the "Made in Azerbaijan" brand.
Representatives of trade missions participated in forums and conferences, providing information about Azerbaijan's favorable business and investment environment, the opportunities created for foreign investors, and the fiscal and administrative incentives applied. Additionally, foreign entrepreneurs were given extensive information about the measures outlined in the "First State Program on the Great Return to the Liberated Territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan," ongoing construction work in the Karabakh and Eastern Zangazur economic regions, and the economic potential of these regions. The country's transit potential for freight transportation in the North-South and East-West directions was also highlighted.
Foreign investors have been invited to invest in industrial parks and sectors, agro-parks, the Alat Free Economic Zone, and the areas liberated from occupation in our country.
