Micro and small entrepreneurs can apply to KOBIA for a "Startup" certificate, which provides tax exemptions.
Seven more micro and small entrepreneurs have been granted the "Startup" certificate, which exempts them from profit or income tax on their innovation-related revenues for a period of three years. During the next meeting of the Expert Council established at the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) for issuing the "Startup" certificate, nine applications from SMB entities were reviewed, and it was decided to grant certificates to seven of them.
"Startup" certificates were awarded to the following projects: the online platform for tree planting, greening activities, and donations by "Green Public" LLC; the online marketplace for motorcycles, two-wheeled electric vehicles, and bicycles by "Lumusoft" LLC; smart solutions for self-service coffee shops and micro-markets by "Self Tech" LLC; the online platform for personnel management in government institutions and private companies by "U and R Company" LLC; the online platform for courier service management by "Azari" LLC; the online education platform by individual entrepreneur Gunay Aliyeva; and the project for recycling food waste and producing canned pet food by individual entrepreneur Javid Jabbarov.
