The export of products manufactured in the Agdam Industrial Park is increasing.
A media tour was organized to the Agdam Industrial Park by the Economic Zones Development Agency under the Ministry of Economy.
Media representatives were provided with information about the activities of the Industrial Park and the production carried out. It was noted that a favorable environment has been created for the development of entrepreneurial activity in the Industrial Park. Businessmen have been provided with ready-made infrastructure at the expense of state funds. Currently, 28 business entities with an investment portfolio of more than 260 million manats in the Industrial Park have been granted residency status, and 4 entrepreneurs have been granted non-residency status. Entrepreneurs have invested more than 115 million manats in projects, and 653 people have been provided with permanent jobs. Currently, 9 enterprises operate in the Industrial Park, and work is underway to build more than 5 enterprises.
In addition to being sold in the domestic market, the manufactured products are exported to foreign countries. “Bafco Invest” LLC, a resident of the Agdam Industrial Park, has started exporting special protective and polyurethane boots to Kazakhstan. Initially, 5 thousand pairs of shoes were sent to Kazakhstan. The annual production capacity of the enterprise, which uses equipment from the German company "Desma", is 510 thousand pairs of shoes. The company has provided 67 permanent jobs.
In addition, wallpapers produced in the Industrial Park are exported to Uzbekistan and Georgia.
It should be noted that residents of the Agdam Industrial Park are fully exempted from property, land, and income taxes for 10 years from the date of their registration, as well as from VAT and customs duties when importing machinery, technological equipment and devices for production purposes.
