Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov, in an interview with the CNN Business Arabic television channel, spoke about the successful economic cooperation with the United Arab Emirates and the strategic importance of joint projects.
Within the framework of his participation in the Forum of the OPEC Fund for International Development, Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov gave an interview to CNN Business Arabic.
The interview addressed issues such as strengthening economic relations with the United Arab Emirates (UAE), successful cooperation in the fields of energy, industry, transport, and investment, the strategic significance of joint projects, and economic diversification.
It was noted that Azerbaijan and the UAE are partners in many projects implemented in both countries. Joint activities are being carried out between the two countries in the area of energy security and diversification. In this regard, cooperation with companies such as Masdar, ADNOC, XRG, and others was highlighted.
Information was also provided on effective investment cooperation with the UAE and the opportunities created by the Azerbaijan–UAE Joint Investment Fund.
The interview also highlighted Azerbaijan’s economic development priorities, achievements in economic diversification and private sector development, as well as the work being carried out for the restoration and reconstruction of the territories liberated from occupation.
