At the meeting with Italy’s Minister of Enterprises and “Made in Italy,” the expansion of cooperation in energy, industry, innovation, trade, and other priority sectors was discussed.
Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov held a videoconference meeting with Italy’s Minister of Enterprises and “Made in Italy” Adolfo Urso.
At the meeting, it was emphasized that economic relations between Azerbaijan and Italy have been steadily developing within the framework of friendship and strategic partnership. It was noted that Italy is Azerbaijan’s main trading partner, and satisfaction was expressed with the level of cooperation in the energy sector. It was highlighted that the attractive investment environment established in our country stimulates the expansion of the partnership.
The parties discussed prospects for promoting mutual investments and implementing joint projects with the aim of further strengthening economic relations. The meeting also included an exchange of views on expanding cooperation and exploring new partnership opportunities in energy, industry, innovation, trade, and other priority areas.
