Within the framework of the “Year of Constitution and Sovereignty”, a meeting has been held with the children of the heroes who became martyrs in the battles for Azerbaijan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
During the event organized by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan and “Victory” - the Public Union for the Support to Martyrs’ Families, the children of martyrs, who study in higher education institutions, familiarized themselves with the work process of the Ministry.
It was emphasized that the 5th anniversary of the brilliant Victory, achieved by the Glorious Azerbaijani Army under the resolute leadership of the Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief, was celebrated in our country with great pride. The sacrifice of our martyrs, who lost their lives for the sake of the liberation of our territories from occupation, the soldiers and servicemen, who participated in the battles, is the prime example of true patriotism. The restoration of Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity has laid the solid foundation for increasing our country’s global influence and further strengthening its economic sovereignty.
At the event, discussions were held on the works carried out to advance the human capital in the country. The interests shown by the children of martyrs in various fields, along with their opinions on development goals, were heard, and recommendations were provided.
