Energy transition, green energy and green industrial park projects were discussed with China Datang Corporation Ltd.
Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov has held a meeting with Lyu Jun, the Chairman of China Datang Corporation Ltd.
During the meeting, the sustainable development of the Azerbaijani economy, the diversification of the non-oil sector and the reforms implemented within the framework of the green energy concept were highlighted. It was noted that the development of renewable energy sources, the enhancement of energy efficiency and the application of technological innovations were among the main priorities of the country’s economy.
The parties discussed energy transition, the implementation of the Joint Green Energy Industrial Park project, capital investment in the energy sector, localization and technological transfer.
It is noteworthy that China Datang Corporation Ltd., one of the largest energy companies of China, was established in 2002. The company has extensive experience in energy production, the adoption of renewable energy technologies, energy efficiency, equipment manufacturing and innovative energy solutions.
