Meeting held with Chairman of Board of Germany’s BiWE organization

Cooperation issues related to the development of human resources have been discussed at the meeting held at the Ministry of Economy.

Deputy Minister of Economy Samad Bashirli has held a meeting with Stefan Küpper, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Germany’s BiWE organization (Baden-Württemberg International Education) and Managing Director for Policy, Education and Labor Market at Südwestmetall.

During the meeting, it was highlighted that the economic cooperation with Germany is successfully developing, and the significance of the Roadmap signed with the German-Azerbaijani Foreign Trade Chambers and the German Eastern Business Association was emphasized.

Information was provided on the the economic priorities of our country, the projects and programs being implemented for the development of human resources, and opportunities for cooperation were explored. Additionally, information was provided on the activities of the Center for Vocational Education under the Economic Zones Development Agency. Opportunities for joint activities in the preparation of highly qualified specialists in the field of industry were noted.

The parties also exchanged views on the development of human resources in Azerbaijan and vocational education aimed at meeting the demand for specialists in various economic areas, as well as other issues of mutual interest.
