An exchange of views has taken place on the development prospects of economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Denmark.
Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov has met with Ole Toft, the Non-Resident Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark to Azerbaijan, and Sule Erdim Ersoy, the General Manager of the "Novo Nordisk Azerbaijan" pharmaceutical company.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the development prospects of economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Denmark, the expansion of partnership in areas of mutual interest, and opportunities for diversifying business ties.
Reviewing the priority areas on the economic cooperation agenda of our countries, the parties emphasized the importance of deepening business relations in various fields. An exchange of views was held regarding Azerbaijan's favorable investment climate, the development of the private sector, and measures implemented towards expanding cooperation with international companies.
The meeting also covered the operations of "Novo Nordisk Azerbaijan" in our country, the implementation of mutual initiatives in the healthcare sector, the application of innovative solutions, and cooperation opportunities within the framework of the public-private partnership model. The importance of executing joint projects and applying advanced international practices in this direction was highlighted.
