The current state and development prospects of economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Tajikistan have been discussed.
Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov has met with Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Tajikistan Abdurahmon Abdurahmonzoda within the framework of the Annual Meetings of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group.
During the meeting, the current state and development prospects of economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Tajikistan were discussed. The parties exchanged views on expanding cooperation in trade and investment, promoting joint economic initiatives, and strengthening mutually beneficial partnerships.
It was noted that expanding cooperation in industry, energy, transport-logistics, and other priority sectors is of great importance for the development of economic relations between the two countries. At the same time, deepening ties between business circles and opportunities for implementing joint projects were in the spotlight.
Other matters of mutual interest were also discussed during the meeting.
