Expansion of economic relations discussed as part of international event held in Kazan

Within the framework of the Tatarstan Oil, Gas & Chemistry Forum 2026, Deputy Minister of Economy Rovnag Abdullayev has held a meeting with the Minister of Oil and Environment of Bahrain and familiarized himself with the Technopolis “Khimgrad”.

Within the framework of the Tatarstan Oil, Gas & Chemistry Forum 2026 held in Kazan city of Tatarstan Republic of the Russian Federation, Azerbaijan’s Deputy Minister of Economy Rovnag Abdullayev has held a meeting with Mohamed bin Mubarak Bin Daina, the Minister of Oil and Environment of the Kingdom of Bahrain. During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the development of the economic relations between Azerbaijan and Bahrain, the expansion of the partnership, as well as opportunities for cooperation in energy and environment.

As part of the visit, members of the Azerbaijani delegation familiarized themselves with Tatarstan’s Technopolis “Khimgrad” and were provided information on the operations of the enterprises here, production opportunities, the technologies applied and the projects implemented.

It is noteworthy that the Tatarstan Oil, Gas & Chemistry Forum 2026  is of great significance in terms expanding business cooperation at a regional and international level, promoting modern technologies and equipment, as well as organizing meetings among business communities.
