The Second Azerbaijan International Investment Forum will be held in Baku

At the Second Azerbaijan International Investment Forum, to be held under the patronage of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, discussions will focus on investment opportunities in key sectors, with the participation of leading global investors, representatives of government institutions and international financial organizations, and business leaders.

On September 25–26, Baku will host the Second Azerbaijan International Investment Forum under the patronage of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev.
Organized by the Ministry of Economy and the Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO), in strategic partnership with The European House – Ambrosetti, the Forum will be held under the theme “Rebuilding Trust in a Fragmented World: The South Caucasus as a Pillar of Global Connectivity and Investment Stability.”
The First Azerbaijan International Investment Forum, held in September last year, brought together more than 1,000 participants and resulted in the signing of investment agreements worth over $10 billion, more than $7 billion of which were related to the non-oil sector.
The transformation of the global economy, the reshaping of supply chains, the emergence of new transport and energy routes, and the growing influence of digital technologies and artificial intelligence are creating the need for new approaches to the global investment agenda. Against this backdrop, Azerbaijan’s strategic position at the crossroads of Europe and Asia further strengthens its role in promoting regional and global connectivity.
The Forum will bring together leading international investors, representatives of government institutions and international financial organizations, as well as business leaders. The plenary session and panel discussions will cover a broad range of topics, including the Middle Corridor, energy and the green transition, artificial intelligence and digital transformation, infrastructure, industry and free economic zones, critical raw materials, agribusiness, financial cooperation, SME development, tourism, real estate, and investment in human capital.
The Second Azerbaijan International Investment Forum will serve as an important international platform for establishing new partnerships, attracting investment, and expanding economic opportunities. Particular attention will be given to developing partnerships around specific projects and creating mechanisms for mutually beneficial cooperation.
Azerbaijan’s sustainable economic development, macroeconomic stability, and favorable business environment provide investors with reliable and predictable opportunities. The country is interested in implementing projects that facilitate the transfer of technology, knowledge, and investment and stands ready to support initiatives in these areas.
The Second Azerbaijan International Investment Forum is expected to contribute to transforming new ideas and initiatives into concrete projects, expanding cooperation with foreign investors, and establishing new partnerships.
