World Urban Forum provided information about potential of our liberated territories

In the Polish city of Katowice, a panel meeting was held as part of the 11th session of the World Urban Forum "Let's change our cities for a better future".

Taking part in the event, Zamin Badirkhanov, Head of the Department of Territorial Reconstruction and Development of the Ministry of Economy, informed about the goals set in the National Priorities for the Social and Economic Development of Azerbaijan until 2030, the reconstruction work carried out in the liberated territories, and the economic potential of the region. The panel session showed a video about an enabling environment created to ensure sustainable resettlement, regional reintegration into economic activity, employment and sustainable development in our liberated territories

It is worthy of note that the World Urban Forum is held every two years by the UN-Habitat Program and is dedicated to the problems caused by rapid urbanization.
