Deputy Minister of Economy Samed Bashirli has met with the Chairman of Uzavtosanoat State Company’s Board Shavkat Umurzakov and Vice President of General Motors International Johnny Saldana.
The Deputy Minister of Economy informed at the meeting that the Azerbaijani-Uzbek partnership and trade and economic ties are developing, with the increase of the trade turnover between our countries and expansion of cooperation in the field of mutual investments. However, there is great scope for strengthening the partnership.
Uzbek companies were invited to actively participate in business projects implemented in our liberated territories.
The Chairman of Uzavtosanoat SC’s Board Shavkat Umurzakov underlined the great emphasis placed by Uzbekistan on the development of cooperation with Azerbaijan, sharing his views on the areas of partnership development.
The sides talked of the development of cooperation in the field of mechanical engineering, including the expansion of joint exports to the markets of other countries.
