Fostering the Azerbaijani-Bulgarian trade and economic cooperation was focused on at the meeting between Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov and Bulgarian Minister of Economy and Industry Nikola Stoyanov.
The Azerbaijani Minister of Economy voiced the importance of fostering relations between our countries, and expanding ties in various sectors of the economy, especially in the energy sector. Underlining the favorable business environment of our country and the economic potential available in our liberated territories, the Minister invited Bulgarian companies to take advantage of the business environment of Azerbaijan and actively cooperate.
Minister of Economy and Industry of Bulgaria Nikola Stoyanov noted that his country is keen to the development of bilateral relations, and the expansion of economic ties will help strengthen partnerships in other areas.
The sides exchanged views on promising areas of economic cooperation, identification of investment opportunities, relations in the field of transport and transit, and gas supplies to Bulgaria.
