Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov met with Chairman of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and the Turkic Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mustafa Rifat Hisarciklioglu, who is on a visit to Azerbaijan.
“The Azerbaijani-Turkish relations experience its highest level and cooperation is successfully developing in all areas, with our partnership being an example in the world. The two countries are reliable partners in the world, and active participants in major energy and transport projects. The private sector has a major part in strengthening cooperation and increasing trade, with TOBB’s significant role in developing relations between businessmen”, Mikayil Jabbarov notes.
Chairman of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Rifat Hisarciklioglu expressed satisfaction with his visit to Azerbaijan, talking of wide opportunities for developing economic cooperation, including trade relations. From this viewpoint, it is of particular importance to expand ties between business associations, chambers of commerce, and to hold various formats of events with the participation of entrepreneurs.
At the meeting, the importance of Shusha Turkish Business Forum, held on September 16 this year, in the development of a dialogue between entrepreneurs was emphasized, and an exchange of views took place on the possibilities of further expanding trade cooperation, relations between business circles, and increasing mutual investment.
By the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated April 25, 2022, Mustafa Rifat Hisarciklioglu was awarded the Order of Friendship for his contribution to the development of the Azerbaijani economy and effective activities in the field of entrepreneurship.
