State budget received about 55M manats totally from privatization and leasing for 8 months this year

The simplification of procedures in privatization in our country, the transition of auctions to an electronic plane, the introduction of online services in this area, and the variety of state property privatized are aimed at attracting investors and buyers.

In continuation of the efforts carried out in this area, the State Service for Property Issues under the Ministry of Economy organized 45 auctions in January-August 2022, where shareholdings in 14 joint-stock companies, 11 small state-owned enterprises and facilities, 2 unfinished buildings and 375 vehicles were privatized. State property put up for auction accepted 270 electronic applications, and 69 online connections were made through the Electronic Auction software to participate in the auction. During this period, 23 mineral deposits were put into operation at auctions.

In January-August of the current year, state budget revenues from privatization amounted to 38,2M manats.

The State Service for Property Issues has achieved high results in the field of leasing state property in January-August this year. For 8 months of the current year, a total of 2,847 new lease agreements were concluded, of which 586 are for non-residential areas, and 2261 for land plots. The number of concluded lease agreements is 2.8 times more than in January-August 2021.

The state budget received 16.8M manats from the leasing of state-owned real estate for 8 months of this year.

So, in January-August this year, about 55M manats were received totally by the budget from the privatization and leasing of state property.
