The heads of transport and logistics companies that are members of the Eurasian Logistics Alliance visited Sumgait Chemical Industrial Park.
First, the delegation got acquainted with the work done in Sumgait Chemical Industrial Park, the Cable Plant of the Industrial Park resident STP LLC and the workflow at the lubricant production enterprise of ALCO LLC.
Later on, the Company's management met with the Chairman of the Board of the Agency for Development of Economic Zones (ADEZ) Elshad Nuriyev.
The meeting attended by more than 20 representatives of companies provided information about industrial zones and agroparks under the ADEZ management, available investment opportunities for entrepreneurs, applied tax and customs benefits, and organized a presentation of industrial zones and agroparks. The Company's executives were also informed of the logistics capabilities of Araz Valley Economic Zone Industrial Park located in the Jabrayil region, as well as the customs warehouses that will be created here and in Sumgait Chemical Industrial Park.
At the meeting, an exchange of views took place on the establishment of a transport and logistics center of the Eurasian Logistics Alliance in Azerbaijan within the North-South and East-West transport corridors.
