The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan announces a tender to engage potential investors for the construction, operations and management of the plant for the production of drinking water by desalination of sea water, which is planned within the framework of public-private partnership
According to the Law #691-VIQ of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated December 9, 2022 "On Public-Private Partnership" the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan invites potential investors to participate in the tender for design, construction, operations and management of a plant for production of drinking water by desalination of sea water with annual production capacity of 100 (67) million m3 in the city of Sumgait.

Government support and guarantees for the project:
Government incentives to support the project may include and may not limited with customs fee exemptions for imported technological materials, VAT exemption, corporate and property tax deduction etc.

Potential investors can obtain information about the documents stipulated by the Article 11 of the Law "On Public-Private Partnership" for qualification evaluation for the purpose of participation in the project from the official website of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan (www.portal.economy.gov.az) from November 15, 2023 10:00 a.m
Upon sharing the interest with azdesalppp@economy.gov.az mail address, a user name and password for the data sharing system (www.portal.economy.gov.az ) will be shared to access tender documentation and submit the application materials

In order to submit tender application, each user should upload their needed materials to “Tender application submission” folder, and notify azdesalppp@economy.gov.az to confirm their submission. Applicants that fail to submit their application will not be able to participate the tender process
