Deputy Minister of Economy Sahib Mammadov met with Deputy Minister of Economy of the Slovak Republic, First State Secretary of the Ministry Kamil Shashko.
It was emphasized at the meeting that Azerbaijan-Slovakia relations are developing successfully and that there is great potential for expanding cooperation between the two countries. It was reported that Slovak companies are successfully operating in the fields of industry, construction, trade and services in our country. There is potential for the development of partnership between our countries in the fields of energy, humanitarian, tourism, agriculture, defense industry, and infrastructure.
The parties discussed preparations for the next meeting of the Azerbaijan-Slovakia Joint Working Group on economic cooperation in order to coordinate and promote bilateral economic cooperation, as well as the activities of Slovak companies in the territories liberated from occupation in order to coordinate and promote bilateral economic cooperation, according to Article 3 of the "Agreement on economic cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Slovak Republic".
