The "Green Solidarity - 2024" idea competition was organized jointly by the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Economy.
An event dedicated to the "Year of Solidarity for a Green World" was held in Shamakhi with support from the Training and Education Center under the Scientific Research Institute of the Ministry of Economy.
A total of 20 teams, comprising employees from both organizing institutions, competed in the competition. Participants developed digital solution concepts on topics such as “green public services,” raising environmental awareness, creating a “green work environment,” and promoting public engagement in these areas.
The goal was to identify innovation-oriented potential, promote the “green economy” and “green work environment,” expand networking among employees, and foster a mindset of innovative thinking.
As part of the event, a representative from the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, operating under the Ministry of Economy, delivered a presentation on “Digital Economy and Industry 4.0.”
Based on criteria such as the application of innovative approaches, sustainability, strategic approach to processes, efficiency, and presentation skills, the competition awarded first place to the "Green Light" team from the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The "Ekoland" team from the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan took second place, while the "Horizon" team from the State Property Service received third place.
