At a meeting held at the Ministry of Economy, the priority areas of cooperation with the Asian Development Bank were discussed.
Deputy Minister of Economy Samad Bashirli met with Ms. Shiahong Yang, the Deputy Director of the Central and West Asia Department of the Asian Development Bank.
The meeting noted the development of relations with the Bank, and the participation of the Bank in state-private partnerships, environmental issues, digital development, energy, enhancing the country's transit-logistics potential, and the implementation of various infrastructure projects was highly appreciated.
The parties exchanged views on the current state of the partnership and issues of mutual interest. Funding opportunities for combating climate change, as well as cooperation matters within the framework of COP29, were discussed.
