"SME FEST" events enhance the sales opportunities for SMEs while also fostering new collaborations among entrepreneurs.
The Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) is organizing a "SME FEST" exhibition and sales fair in the Zagatala region. Around 30 SME entities from Zagatala and surrounding areas are showcasing and selling their products at the fair. The exhibition primarily features agricultural and industrial products, honey and beekeeping products, dried fruits, nuts, canned goods, souvenirs, various handicrafts, carpets, leather embroidery, wood carvings, and other diverse products.
At the opening ceremony of the event, the head of the Zagatala District Executive Authority, Mubariz Ahmadov, and the Chairman of SMBDA's Board, Orkhan Mammadov, emphasized the significance of such events for promoting the products and services of SMEs operating in the region, expanding sales opportunities, and establishing connections among micro and small entrepreneurship entities.
A cultural and entertainment program has also been organized as part of the "SME FEST." The exhibition and sales fair will be held in front of the Culture House daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM until October 13.
It should be noted that the "SME FEST" exhibition and sales fairs aim to support the promotion and sale of products and services produced by micro and small entrepreneurs operating in the regions. This event also provides SME entities with opportunities to establish new collaborations, conduct B2B meetings, and enhance their sales skills. Previously, "SME FEST" has been held in Baku, Goygol, Sheki, Ganja, Masally, and Nakhchivan. Overall, these fairs have supported the sale of products and services from approximately 300 SME entities.
