A new resident of the Sumgayit Chemical Industrial Park will invest 10.2 million manats.
A joint venture company, "Elba Chem" QSC, has been granted resident status in the Sumgayit Chemical Industrial Park, managed by the Agency for the Development of Economic Zones. This brings the total number of residents in the Industrial Park to 41. The company plans to construct a factory in the park for the production of potassium sulfate (fertilizer) with an annual production capacity of 10,000 tons.
The project, with an investment value of 10.2 million manats, is expected to create over 50 jobs.
In addition to selling the products produced at the facility in the domestic market, exports are also planned.
