Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov has met with Gert Jan Koopman, the Director-General for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations of the European Commission, held within COP29.
Discussions were held during the meeting on the development of the EU-Azerbaijan cooperation and the regional partnership. Azerbaijan’s contributions to global challenges and the steps taken to promote the green agenda were reviewed. The economic reforms implemented to ensure sustainable development, the importance of regional projects and the priorities of global partnership were discussed. Views were exchanged on potential cooperation opportunities in the economic and investment fields.
