The leadership of the Ministry of Economy visited the "Mother's Scream" monument, which was erected in memory of the victims of the Khojaly genocide, on the 33rd anniversary of the tragedy.
The Khojaly genocide is one of the gravest crimes against humanity in history. However, this mass slaughter, committed with particular cruelty to shake our society, could not break the determination of our people. Under the leadership of Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, and as a result of the anti-terror operations carried out by our victorious Army, our state sovereignty was fully restored, and Khojaly was cleared of separatists. Today, our three-colored flag proudly waves in Khojaly, former internally displaced persons are returning to their homeland, and the foundation for a prosperous future and economic progress is being laid. These reflect the triumph of justice and fairness.
It has already been 33 years since the Khojaly massacre. Even though decades have passed, this horrific event has been eternally etched in the memory of each of us.

Flower bouquets were placed in front of the monument, and the precious memory of the victims of the genocide was respectfully commemorated.
