Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Azerbaijan Kairat Osmonaliev has been accepted by Deputy Minister of Economy Sahib Mammadov.
Sahib Mammadov noted that great value is placed on the development of economic ties between our country and Kyrgyzstan. As reported, an important platform in terms of expanding trade and economic cooperation is the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic and Humanitarian Cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Kyrgyz Republic, the 4th meeting of which is scheduled to be held in Baku. In addition, visits, various business forums and business meetings between the two countries contribute to strengthening the partnership. At present, the two countries are cooperating within the framework of the Organization of Turkic States, which is of great importance in the development of ties.
The meeting pointed out that there is a wide potential for developing cooperation with Kyrgyzstan in the areas of transport and transit, agriculture, investment and tourism, and Kyrgyz companies were invited to take advantage of the favorable business environment available in Azerbaijan.
Sharing his opinion on the possibilities of implementing joint projects, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Azerbaijan Kairat Osmonaliev stressed that expanding economic cooperation with Azerbaijan is of interest to his country.
