SMB Friend came into operation in Khizi

SMB friends of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) already cover 35 cities and regions of the country. On August 11, another SMB Friend came into operation in Khizi, which is the third of this kind in the Absheron-Khizi economic region.

As part of SMBDA meeting with entrepreneurs operating in the Absheron-Khizi economic region, Khizi SMB Friend was presented to the public of the region. In addition to representatives of SMBDA, representatives of local executive authorities and relevant government agencies also attended the meeting.

Chairman of SMBDA Board Orkhan Mammadov spoke about the activities of the Agency and the SMB Friend mechanism. As reported, micro, small and medium-sized businesses can contact SMB Friend on issues related to entrepreneurial activity. SMB Friend will provide the necessary support to individuals and entrepreneurs wishing to start a business in Khizi, within the existing mechanisms of state support and services of the Agency. Moreover, the SMB Friend will take appropriate measures within the PPP platform to establish new business entities, protect the interests of entrepreneurs and solve the difficulties they face in the region. Orkhan Mammadov, noting that the network of SMB friends covers most cities and regions of the country, called on entrepreneurs to actively cooperate with SMB friends.

Khazar Aslanov, the Head of Khizi Region Executive Power, talked of the work done to develop entrepreneurship in the region, emphasizing that the activities of SMB Friend will be important in expanding the activities of small and medium-sized businesses in the region and creating new business lines.

The event also featured films about SMB Friend mechanism and SMBDA support for micro and small entrepreneurs, and answered questions from entrepreneurs.

Then the participants got acquainted with the conditions created to provide support and services to entrepreneurs in the SMB Friend Office located in the Heydar Aliyev Center of the Khizi region.
