In accordance with the tasks set by the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated January 26, 2017 "On the Appointment of Trade Representatives in the Embassies and Consulates of the Republic of Azerbaijan Abroad", trade representatives are appointed in foreign countries.
In June 2017, Teymur Nadiroghlu was appointed Azerbaijan's Trade Representative in the People’s Republic of China.
The Trade Representative in the People's Republic of China, one of Azerbaijan's main trading partners, has an important role to play in expanding our country's non-oil exports, promoting the “Made in Azerbaijan” brand, a favorable business and investment environment, and attracting investment from China.
Trade Representative of Azerbaijan in the People's Republic of China T.Nadiroghlu took positions in the field of investment, accounting, business development and financial planning in Azerbaijan, the USA and China. From 2008 until this appointment, he was General Manager of Primum Consulting Ltd in China. T.Nadiroghlu received a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and postgraduate studies in Leadership and Management from Northeastern and Harvard Universities in the USA. Proficient in English, Russian, Turkish and Chinese.
