Trade Representative of Azerbaijan in Central Europe

In accordance with the tasks set by the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated January 26, 2017 "On the Appointment of Trade Representatives in the Embassies and Consulates of the Republic of Azerbaijan Abroad", trade representatives are appointed in foreign countries.

In October 2017, Nemat Naghdaliyev was appointed a Trade Representative in the countries of Central Europe (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, Slovenia) based in the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Republic of Poland.

The Trade Representative of Azerbaijan in the countries of Central Europe has an important role to play in developing trade and economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and the countries that are members of the European Union, in promoting the “Made in Azerbaijan” brand in these countries and the investment environment in Azerbaijan, and in increasing non-oil exports of our country.

N.Naghdaliev with extensive experience in the diplomatic field received a bachelor's and master's degree in Economics from M.V.Lomonosov Moscow State University, a master's degree in International Relations from the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, and a candidate of economic sciences from the Russian Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation. N.Naghdaliyev took the positions of the Head of Humanitarian Programs Department at the Representative Office of Heydar Aliyev Foundation in the Russian Federation, and Head of Staff of the All-Russian Azerbaijani Congress. Prior to this appointment, he worked at the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Russian Federation. Fluent in English and Russian.
