Azerbaijan Investment Company OJSC (AIH) and Diamed Development Group LLC signed an investment agreement on the construction of a plant for the production of infusion solutions (water containing medicines).
Infusion solutions are used to maintain water and electrolyte balance in the human body and ensure optimal metabolism. The project will mainly manufacture products of sodium chloride (0.9%), Ringer's lactate and glucose (5%). Taking into account the cost-effectiveness and profitability of the project, as well as the reduction of dependence on imports and support for local production, a decision was made to support funding for the construction of the plant by AIH.
AIH has a share of 20% in the project with a total value of 13.7 million manats. The enterprise, which will be located in Pirallahi district and has an annual production capacity of 20 million pieces, is expected to create new jobs for up to 100 people.
