Development of economic cooperation with Pakistan discussed

At the meeting with Pakistan's Federal Minister for Privatisation, the Investment Board, and Communications, an exchange of views was held on partnership issues in various areas.

Deputy Minister of Economy Samad Bashirli met with Abdul Aleem Khan, the Federal Minister for Privatisation, the Investment Board, and Communications of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

It was emphasized during the meeting that Azerbaijan-Pakistan relations, based on friendship and brotherhood, are developing. In this context, there is great potential for further expanding economic ties. Strengthening mutual trade cooperation with Pakistan holds significant importance. The Preferential Trade Agreement signed between our countries will contribute to collaboration in this area. In addition, opportunities for developing cooperation in the field of investments and implementing joint projects in various sectors were discussed.

The parties exchanged views on the cooperation matters on the agenda.
