The participants were informed at the seminar organized by the Ministry of Economy for journalists, about the economic policy implemented by the National Leader and its decisive role in the strengthening of Azerbaijan as an independent state.
The Ministry of Economy held a seminar on "Heydar Aliyev and economic reforms" for media representatives on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev.
Farida Ahmadova, an employee of the Ministry's Economic Policy Department, and Shukur Guliyev, a leading researcher of the Economic Scientific Research Institute under the Ministry, gave a speech on the topic at the event, which was attended by traditional and online media representatives, informed the participants about the various aspects of the economic policy implemented by the National Leader during his leadership of the country, the result-oriented reforms and the decisive role of this in strengthening Azerbaijan as an independent state and increasing its power. It was emphasized that Heydar Aliyev had unparalleled services in the formation of the national economy and the establishment of the market economy in our country. The Great Leader, who deeply understood the essence of economic issues, attached great importance to the application of the leading world experience in this field in Azerbaijan. The development of various areas of the industry, especially on the basis of advanced techniques and technologies, has been the focus of attention in addition to the successful implementation of the ingenious oil strategy. The National Leader's reforms have created a solid foundation for the implementation of privatization, land reforms, the development of entrepreneurship and the formation of a class of national entrepreneurs.
The far-sighted policy implemented under the leadership of Heydar Aliyev ensured the future development and economic power of Azerbaijan. Currently, our country has strengthened its geostrategic position on the political map of the world, has become the leading state of the South Caucasus, the initiator and active participant of transnational projects implemented in the region.
