Reports on the implementation status of the Roadmap and Intensive Communication Plan were heard at the next meeting of the "International Trade" working group of the Commission on Business Environment and International Ratings, led by the Ministry of Economy.
A meeting was held by the "International Trade" working group of the Commission on Business Environment and International Ratings in a video conference format.
The meeting, held with the participation of Head of the working group, First Deputy Minister of Economy Elnur Aliyev, Head of the Secretariat of the Commission on Business Environment and International Ratings, Vusal Shikhaliyev, Head of the Sector for Monitoring, Coordination and Evaluation of Economic Reforms of the Department of Economic Policy and Industrial Issues of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Natig Shirinov, Head of the Subgroup on Increasing the Efficiency of State Services for Border Trade, Deputy Chairman of the State Customs Committee, and representatives of relevant state agencies and the private sector, discussed the work done during the current year.
The meeting heard presentations on the implementation status of the Intensive Communication Plan regarding the items included in the Roadmap and the "International Trade" indicator of the "Business Ready" report. The meeting participants were also informed about the "trade information portal" currently being created. The portal will provide consistent information on international trade procedures and regulations, import requirements of foreign countries, customs procedures, and other information. The portal is planned to be fully operational in the second half of 2025.
Then, discussions were held on the assessment of the "B-Ready" survey for the next year and the tasks to be included in the Roadmap for 2025, and relevant recommendations were made.
