A discussion was held at a meeting with the UN Resident Coordinator in Azerbaijan on the preparation of a new Framework Document on cooperation.
Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov met with Vladanka Andreyeva, UN Resident Coordinator in Azerbaijan.
The meeting emphasized the multi-vector cooperation of our country with various specialized agencies of the UN. It was noted that the implementation of the Framework Document on Cooperation on Sustainable Development between the UN and Azerbaijan for 2021-2025 has become an important factor in the development of the partnership. The organization and successful conclusion of COP29 in Azerbaijan created an additional incentive for expanding our country's relations with the UN, which is a responsible partner in solving global problems.
The parties discussed the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals and the definition of strategic directions for the preparation of a new Framework Document for cooperation for 2026-2030.
