Participants of the “4IR Academy – National Program” Awarded as Part of “Baku ID 2026”

An award ceremony dedicated to the results of the “4IR Academy – National Program” was held as part of the “Baku ID 2026” innovation festival.

An event dedicated to the “4IR Academy – National Program” was held as part of the “Baku ID 2026” innovation festival, for which the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4SIM) under the Ministry of Economy serves as a strategic partner.

During the event, participants who distinguished themselves in 12 nomination categories under the National Program were awarded certificates of excellence and presented with gifts. The award ceremony was attended by Shahmar Movsumov, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan - Head of the Department of Economic Issues and Innovative Development Policy of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan ; Mikayil Jabbarov, Minister of Economy; Emin Amrullayev, Minister of Science and Education; Rovshan Najaf, President of SOCAR; and Farid Mammadov, Chief Executive Officer of PASHA Financial Holding.

Overall, the nomination categories covered areas such as engaging different age and social groups in education, self-development and lifelong learning, career development, supporting talent in the regions, entrepreneurship and startup activity, women’s participation in innovation, as well as the sharing of acquired knowledge.

The event also provided information on human capital development, the formation of knowledge and skills in line with the changing requirements of the labor market, and the opportunities created in this area by the “4IR Academy – National Program.” A video highlighting the results of the first stage of the program and the achievements of its participants was also screened.

It should be noted that the “4IR Academy – National Program” is jointly implemented by the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4SIM) under the Ministry of Economy, the State Agency for Science and Higher Education under the Ministry of Science and Education, and the U.S.-based company Coursera.

The main objective of the program is to contribute to the development of the digital economy, foster competitive human capital, and support the development of skills aligned with the requirements of the modern labor market. For this purpose, citizens are provided with free access to more than 21,000 courses on the Coursera platform.

The program is implemented on the basis of public-private sector partnership. PASHA Holding, SOCAR, bp, Azerconnect Group, TotalEnergies, XRG, JOCAP, Norm Cement, Smart Solutions Group, and B2B Group are partners of the main stage of the program within the framework of their corporate social responsibility initiatives.
